A Danish table lamp built from solid teak, its form pared down to essentials: a rectangular head balanced on a tapering, obelisk-like base. The construction is honest and visible — mitred corners, a single inlaid detail of two dark dots set into the front face — with no ornament beyond what the joinery itself provides. The grain is left to do the talking, rich and unlacquered in feel, warmed by decades of use.
It sits low and quiet on a shelf or console, more sculpture than fixture until it’s switched on. A study in restraint — the kind of object that rewards a room with very little and asks for nothing in return.
